As Vice President, Brooke acts as second-in-command, assisting the President and Executive Director. Her duties include managing programs, overseeing daily operations, supporting fundraising, contributing to strategic planning and the organization's overall vision, and representing BFCDS when necessary.
Brooke Campbell is a professional writer, copywriter, and poet who currently serves as a creative officer and content manager. Her voice and storytelling shape how BFCDS communicates its mission to the community.
Ms. Campbell has worked for various nonprofits, most recently as National Programs Coordinator for the National Pancreas Foundation. She had the privilege of working with two additional organizations focused on youth betterment: as School Coordinator for Everybody Wins DC, operating the mentor reading program for 1st through 5th graders, and as Administrative Coordinator of the National Urban League Toledo chapter, supporting the career readiness program for at-risk youth.
Ms. Campbell is an ardent proponent of community and youth development and is delighted to merge that passion with her love for creativity in her work at BFCDS.
